MAD's July 2002 issue goes all-in on Star Wars: Attack of the Clones with a cover by Roberto Parada that places Alfred E. Neuman — glowing with Force energy and wielding a yellow lightsaber — front and center between two Jedi warriors in full battle stance. The trio's dramatic poses and clashing lightsaber beams make for a genuinely striking parody of the film's promotional imagery, and the corner tag proudly marks this as "1 of 2 Attack of the Clones Covers — Collect 'Em Both!" Beyond the Star Wars send-up ("The Jedi Bunch"), the cover also teases MAD takes on Chris Rock and Ozzy Osbourne, making this a packed 2002 issue with plenty of targets in its satirical crosshairs.
