Mad #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeMad #2 from EC Comics delivers the anarchic energy that made this series a sensation in 1952, with Jack Davis's cover art pulling you in immediately. A wide-eyed baseball player in uniform tumbles helplessly through a crowd of leering, bug-eyed monsters and grotesque onlookers, crying out "I…I feel it in my bones! Someone is giving me the evil eye!" — and sure enough, a bulging cyclopean creature in the crowd seems to be doing exactly that. The tagline "Humor in a Jugular Vein" says it all: this is comedy with teeth, and at a dime a copy, it was one of the sharpest bargains in comics.
