“Merry Meadow Mice”

In "Merry Meadow Mice," Little Quacker’s crying fits trigger a full-blown hiccup epidemic that spreads to Jerry, prompting the duo to enlist Tom in a desperate bid for a scare to cure themselves. With Tom reluctant and suspicious, the unlikely pair push him into a chase he never wanted—leading to a chaotic, slapstick showdown that’s as much about their stubbornness as it is about survival. Harvey Eisenberg’s expressive artwork and the vibrant colors from the Western Publishing Production Shop bring the classic antics to life, all under a cover he penciled himself.

Little Quacker has a bad case of the "cry-cups" (like hiccups, but with crying), leading to Jerry getting an equally bad case of the hiccups. They both seek a bad scare to shock them out of their respective conditions and turn to Tom for a good, scary chase. But Tom's feeling too lazy to chase anyone, so the mouse and duck force the issue, to Tom's great suspicion and fright.
