“The Sea Devil”

In "The Sea Devil," Rocky and Gerry take Lassie on a trip to Quito, Ecuador, for the grand opening of a new railroad line—only to find themselves caught in a web of sabotage when chief engineer Vernal clashes with worker Arbolon. With Arbolon's gang disabling a key bridge during the trial run and holding the duo prisoner, Lassie’s keen instincts become their only hope as she races to warn the approaching train. Ralph Mayo’s art brings the jungle setting and tense chase to life, while Morris Gollub’s cover captures the adventure’s dramatic flair.
