Lumberjanes #7
In "Friendship to the Max Badge," the Lumberjanes face a mystery that ties their camp adventures to ancient mythology, as Diana reveals her true identity as Artemis and uncovers Apollo’s hidden hand behind the three-eyed monsters. Written by Noelle Stevenson and Grace Ellis, with art by Brooke Allen and colors by Maarta Laiho, this 2014 issue blends camp camaraderie with mythic stakes, leading the group to the temple cave they discovered earlier—where the girls have already solved several of Apollo’s riddles. The story builds with quiet tension as Jo is asked to complete one final challenge, setting up a moment of high consequence. The cover, by Noelle Stevenson, captures the moment with a striking, intimate portrait of the characters.
