“Children & Monsters [Part One]”

In "Children & Monsters [Part One]," Lucifer faces a shifting power dynamic as Heaven's forces, under Amenadiel's command, move to seize control of the doorway to the void beyond creation. Meanwhile, Mazikeen departs Lucifer’s side to reclaim her original face, Elaine’s grandmothers whisper warnings of looming peril, and David Easterman, on the brink of suicide, is drawn from New York to Los Angeles—then sent on a mysterious path to London—by Lucifer himself, through the Dreaming. Written by Mike Carey and illustrated by Peter Gross, with inks by Ryan Kelly and Peter Gross, colors by Daniel Vozzo, and letters by Comicraft, the issue’s haunting tone is matched by Duncan Fegredo’s striking cover.
