Greg Tocchini's cover for Low #13 is a genuinely arresting composition — a figure seated within an enormous, dripping crimson mechanical construct looms overhead, while two armored characters on the ground below stare upward in apparent defiance or desperation. The warm amber atmosphere and cascading red drips give the whole image a visceral, almost ceremonial weight that perfectly suits Rick Remender and Tocchini's sun-scorched science-fiction world. Dave McCaig's color work ties it all together in a smoldering palette that makes this 2016 Image series feel as urgent as ever.
