Loveless #15

Vertigo's hard-edged Western series Loveless reaches its fifteenth issue with a cover by Marcelo Frusin that's quietly unsettling: a lone gunman in a wide-brimmed hat walks a narrow path through a cotton field, a deep amber-red plume rising ominously behind him. The image captures the series' signature mood — violence simmering just beneath the surface of a ravaged post-Civil War South. With Brian Azzarello writing and Danijel Žeželj on interior art, this "Black and Blue" chapter promises the same unflinching, morally bruised storytelling that defines the run.
