Gwen sees other girls with two boyfriends and thinks she should be able to do it also. She starts seeing Alec in addition to Sam, but when she discovers they are also seeing Anita, she draws the line and tells them that one of them will have to give her up and go full-time with Anita. Sam and Alec claim they can't decide and stage a duel with pistols to decide. Thinking it is crazy, Gwen steps between them and tells them she doesn't love either of them. That is just what the men were waiting to hear as the duel was staged with unloaded pistols to get Gwen to commit.
