A romantic triangle plays out right on the cover of this 1963 Charlton romance title, with a dark-haired young woman in a red dress caught in an intimate moment with a blond man in a brown suit — while a shadowy third figure lingers watchfully in the background. The couple's speech bubbles hint at a slip of the tongue and a lover's awkward apology, giving the scene a wonderfully charged, soap-opera tension. Cover art by Dick Giordano, with interior work from writer Joe Gill and inker Vince Colletta, makes this a fine snapshot of early-'60s romance comics at their most dramatically engaging.
