Edith works in an iron smelting factory commissary; brutish worker Leech pursues her, but she’s more interested in handsome newcomer Steve. However, even though Steve heroically rescues a man at work, he refuses to defend himself against Leech and Edith thinks Steve’s a coward. Steve is revealed to be the owner’s son incognito: he wouldn’t fight because his father would find out. But once his identity is exposed, Steve thrashes Leech and wins back Edith.
