Love Confessions #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis February 1950 Quality Comics romance anthology opens with a dreamy cover photo of a blonde woman reclining with a faraway smile, her red lips parted as though lost in a pleasant reverie — perfectly capturing the mood of the featured story, "Princess of the Five and Ten," teased with the breathless quote: "As I dreamed of Bill's passionate kisses on my lips, my cold selfishness melted away!" Beyond that lead story, the issue promises three more tales of the heart — "Dangerous Loves," "Trapped by a Kiss," and "Passport to Happiness" — making this a generous helping of mid-century romantic drama for just ten cents.

Small-town commercial artist Mary wins a trip to Cuba in a contest. She breaks a date with cruise ship captain Dick, instead touring Havana with Austrian emigre Pierre. Pierre romances her and she agrees to marry him so he can enter the USA. Dick tries to warn her off but she decides she really loves Pierre. After the ceremony, she learns Pierre has obtained entry into the USA on his own and even has a job offer, so their marriage was not a sham.
