Nora and Johnny are engaged, but he’s angry when she won’t immediately quit her job with Dr. Bob. Johnny’s legs are paralyzed in an auto accident and he blames Nora, although this is just a ruse so she’ll leave him. Bob takes this opportunity to make a pass a Nora; in his rage, Johnny regains the ability to walk and punches Bob. This was the doctor’s plan, and Nora and Johnny are back together.
