Lucio Parrillo's painted cover for this 2012 Dynamite issue pulls you in close — uncomfortably close — to the Lord of the Jungle himself, his green-shadowed face taut with feral intensity as he grips a knife etched with a tiger's image, jungle foliage pressing in all around him. It's a striking portrait that captures the raw, primal energy at the heart of the character.
