Lord and Lady Greystoke are marooned on a jungle coast by mutineers. They build a treehouse. Lady Greystoke gives birth and dies with her husband killed almost immediately by Kerchak. Kala exchanges her baby, murdered by Kerchak, with the Greystoke child.
