Looney Tunes #9
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePepe Le Pew is in full romantic pursuit on the cover of this December 1994 DC issue, sweeping an understandably alarmed black-and-white cat off her feet at a road crossroads — complete with a "SLOW: Dept. de Roads" sign and Pepe's signature declaration, "Alors, chérie! We are at the crossroads of love, no?" Star-shaped vignettes along the side spotlight familiar Looney Tunes faces including Speedy Gonzales, Sylvester, Daffy Duck, and Yosemite Sam, promising a full house of cartoon chaos inside. "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Love" sounds like exactly the kind of amour-fueled adventure only Pepe could cook up, with the creative team of writer Jack Enyart and artist/inker George Wildman bringing the slapstick warmth that makes this series such a delight.
