Looney Tunes #257
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLooney Tunes #257 sports one of the most delightfully absurd covers of 2021: Bugs Bunny, decked out in full Revolutionary War regalia and brandishing a carrot instead of a sword, strikes the famous Washington-crossing-the-Delaware pose while proclaiming "I cannot tell a lie — land ahead, Doc!" Meanwhile, a put-upon Elmer Fudd in a tricorn hat does all the rowing and has a very fair complaint about it. Scott Gross's pencils and inks capture the parody with real affection, and the interior story "Wevolutionawy Wabbit" — from writer Jesse Leon McCann and artist Leonardo Batic — promises that the colonial hi-jinks continue well beyond the boat.
