Looney Tunes #194
Elmer Fudd means business — even in pajamas. This March 2011 issue of DC's Looney Tunes features a wonderfully absurd cover by David Álvarez and Mike DeCarlo, showing a determined Elmer in polka-dot sleepwear, bunny slippers, and an oversized hat, clutching his rifle and declaring "At wast I've got you, you wascal!" — while a lone "Z" bubble nearby hints that someone nearby may still be snoozing through the whole confrontation. It's a perfectly charming setup for a series that has always found the sweet spot between slapstick and heart.
