Looney Tunes #179

The cover by Scott Gross sets a gleefully mischievous tone: Porky Pig, decked out in a prison-striped jumpsuit, tumbles upside-down through freshly dug earth, while two pint-sized convicts below him press forward through a tunnel — one clutching a lantern, the other a shovel — with a worm dangling overhead for good measure. "Crackin' Up with Criminals!" and "Gut-Busting Breakouts!" say it all: this December 2009 issue of DC's Looney Tunes promises jailbreak hijinks in classic Looney Tunes fashion. If you're in the mood for cartoonish criminal capers with the series' signature slapstick charm, issue #179 looks like a thoroughly entertaining place to land.
