Looney Tunes #166
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSet against the dramatic backdrop of ancient Mesoamerican pyramids, this November 2008 issue of Looney Tunes drops Speedy Gonzales, Porky Pig, and a hilariously afflicted Daffy Duck into a scene straight out of "Montezuma's Revenge" — the story title alone promises plenty of digestive comedy. On the cover, pencilled and inked by Scott Gross, Daffy writhes in apparent agony atop a stone altar while Speedy gestures helplessly and Porky sheepishly confesses that double-dipping into the salsa bowl may have been the culprit. It's a wonderfully silly setup that shows DC's Looney Tunes at its playful best, mining ancient history for laughs with the gang's trademark charm.
