High above a city skyline, Sylvester the Cat clings desperately to a steel beam while Tweety Bird perches confidently on top, armed with what appears to be a blowtorch and sporting a gleeful "This little piggy…" taunt. It's a delightfully topsy-turvy setup — the predator dangling for dear life while the prey holds all the cards — captured in bright, energetic linework by cover penciler David Álvarez and inker Mike DeCarlo. If the story title "Birdie-go Vertigo!" is any indication, this 2004 issue promises the kind of cheerful, cartoon-logic chaos that makes Looney Tunes such enduring fun.
