Bugs Bunny is up to his usual tricks on the cover of this 2003 DC issue, caught red-handed — quite literally — with a paintbrush and a freshly lettered "Duck Season" sign nailed to a tree. An exasperated Daffy Duck, shotgun in hand, delivers a perfectly timed quip about "the brush-off" as the gag writes itself, with cover art penciled by David Álvarez and inked by Mike DeCarlo capturing that spot-on Looney Tunes energy. Inside, writer Earl Kress and artist Omar Aranda carry the comedic torch with "Neither Fudd Nor Fowl," promising plenty of the fast-talking, sign-swapping mayhem fans have always loved.
