Lobo: Portrait of a Bastich #[nn]
In "Part One: Portrait of a Psychopath," Lobo’s latest attempt at redemption takes a wild turn when he’s reincarnated as a woman during World War II, only to be killed again after a brief run-in with General Glory. Written by Keith Giffen and Alan Grant, with art by Keith Giffen and Simon Bisley, this twisted journey through time and form sees Lobo reborn as an albino squirrel—only to meet his end once more at the hands of the ever-evil Loo and his brother Feces. The cover by Simon Bisley captures the chaotic, grotesque charm of the series, setting the tone for a story where even Heaven can’t keep up with Lobo’s misadventures.

Lobo has been reincarnated as a woman and shunted back in time to where World War II is going on around him. After a brief encounter with General Glory, he lets himself be killed again so he can return to Heaven and demand to be reincarnated in his old familiar body. Due to a clerical error, he is reincarnated as an albino squirrel and promptly killed once again by the evil villains who killed him the first time, Loo and his brother Feces. Returning to Heaven for the third time, the Main Man lovingly asks the powers that be to kindly return him to his original form in his proper time.
