Lobo #6
The cover of this June 1994 DC issue says it all: a manic, snarling ape-like creature clutches a wrench in the foreground while Lobo — grinning wickedly in his signature "Bastich" cap — rides shotgun in an absolutely unhinged truck cab crammed with a case of Lug Beer, skulls, eyeballs, and assorted chaos, with flames erupting from the exhaust. Val Semeiks and John Dell bring a wonderfully anarchic energy to the scene, packing every inch of the cover with gloriously over-the-top detail. "Keep On Truckin'" promises exactly the kind of road-ready mayhem that made Lobo's ongoing series such a rowdy highlight of 1994 DC comics.
