The Main Man is in full, unstoppable form on this February 1999 cover, rendered by penciller Greg Luzniak and inker Mark Propst — a massive, wild-haired Lobo dominates the image, chains and hook in hand, blasting through what looks like a city reduced to fiery rubble while terrified onlookers scatter at his feet. A crackling, energy-charged object clutched at his midsection and the chaos of explosions and debris filling the background make it clear the collateral damage is considerable, to put it mildly. With Alan Grant writing and the cheeky story title "Bad Wee Bastards," issue #59 promises exactly the brand of mayhem and dark humor that has kept this series going strong for nearly five years.
