“The Hunting Party, Part 2: "You Spat on My Grave!"”

The cover of this July 1998 issue says it all — Lobo, wild-eyed and snarling, hauls back a shovel amid a graveyard setting, about to bring it down on a massive blue-and-red costumed figure crawling out of the dirt, with tombstones reading "Goldstar R.I.P." and "Captain Goodboy — He Will Be Missed" scattered around them. The tagline "You Can't Keep a Good Man Down!" perfectly captures the darkly comedic tone that made this series so entertaining throughout its run. With Alan Grant writing and Carl Critchlow and Mark Propst handling the cover art, this installment of "The Hunting Party" looks like a gleefully over-the-top ride.
