Kev O'Neill's cover says it all: Lobo — chain-weapon blazing, grim expression fixed — is leaping straight at a battered yellow space taxi while a wide-eyed, briefcase-clutching passenger on the street below hails it with a desperate "TAXI!", a "Wanted Dead or Alive: Space Cabby" poster fluttering nearby amid a chaos of wrecked vehicles and flying debris. It's a wonderfully anarchic composition that perfectly captures the gonzo energy Alan Grant and O'Neill brought to DC's favorite interstellar bounty hunter in 1995.
