Lobo #2
Lobo #2 from 1994 puts the Main Man front and center in full, glorious excess — he's perched atop what appears to be a heavily armed vehicle, surrounded by an overwhelming arsenal of cannons, rocket launchers, and military hardware in every direction. A horned ram skull adorns the front while a snarling alien creature crouches below him, and Lobo himself looks absolutely in his element, cigar clenched and weapons in hand. With Alan Grant writing, and cover art by Val Semeiks and Karl Kesel, "The Qigly Affair, Part Two: T'anks fer the Memories!" promises the kind of gleefully over-the-top action that made this series a standout of 1994 DC publishing.
