Little Max Comics #33
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHarvey's pint-sized star takes winter fun to thrilling extremes on this February 1955 cover, where Little Max — bundled up in a red coat, ear muffs, and colorful striped pants — hangs on for dear life as his wooden sled rockets along at full speed, a kite trailing behind him in the chaos. Al Avison's linework captures every bit of the kid's wide-eyed, cheek-puffed surprise with real charm and energy. At just a dime, this issue of A Joe Palooka Magazine delivers the kind of breezy, lighthearted fun that made Harvey Comics a favorite on the newsstand.

Baby Wind takes Max and the Talking Balloon on a trip to the moon. On the way, they stop at a star and help a sky-fairy polish it. Then, they wake up the Man-in-the-Moon and have a conversation with him. Baby Wind then blows them back home and promises to take them to the moon again sometime.
