Little Ike encounters a magical genie named Little Witch Hazel when he opens a bottle, and she demonstrates her powers by making herself appear on command. After Little Ike invites her to his clubhouse, she accidentally hits a girl named Eva with a falling object, causing Eva to drink water mixed with a tadpole remedy. Later, in the story "The Frying Pan," Little Ike and his blue companion Elfy embark on an adventure through swamps and jungles fighting alligators and lions, with Elfy carrying an injured Ike back to camp where they bandage his leg before nature attacks again.
