Little Eva #24

Little Eva faces several everyday adventures in this anthology issue. In the main story, Eva plays with neighborhood children who initially exclude boys from their clubhouse party, but after the boys invite the girls to their own gathering, both groups decide to hold a combined "be nice to boys day." In "Wedding Plans," Eva decides to convert her toy chest into a hope chest for her future marriage and carefully stores her mother's wedding dress inside, imagining how she will look wearing it. The issue also includes a "Comedy Column" section featuring humorous school anecdotes and jokes.
