"Captain Condor" follows a space pilot and outlaw who, along with comrades, hijacks a dictator's battle-cruiser and attempts a daring escape through the Red Mists while under bombardment. "The Secret Tunnellers of Calitz Camp" by Rex King depicts prisoners of war, including Andy and Sgt. Wilson, who discover and work on an escape tunnel from a German camp, but their plans are jeopardized when a guard dog discovers the tunnel entrance. "The Riddle of the Haunted Wreck" features detective Brett Marlowe investigating a ghost-ship mystery aboard an Atlantic liner, uncovering a connection to an American criminal hidden in cabin 125.
