Detective Brett Marlowe and his chauffeur Rusty Race spot trouble when a train unexpectedly stops alongside the railway—the driver has knocked the fireman unconscious and clearly has something sinister planned. When Brett boards the moving engine to investigate, he discovers the suspicious driver is actually part of a kidnapping scheme, using the halted train as cover for a carefully orchestrated abduction. Now it's a race against time as the crooks make their escape in a fast getaway car.
