Lion #103 is an anthology issue featuring three main stories. "Captain Condor and the Space-Ship Spy" follows Captain Condor and his comrade Pete as they attempt to rescue a friendly scientist from Earth still held captive by a dictator, with the action involving a hover-plane and a sea patrol's interference. "Rory—Mick the Mountie's Dog" by Victor Norman chronicles Rory's encounter with a bearded prospector impersonating Mick, leading to Rory's efforts to expose the fake and recover stolen gold from miners. The issue also includes "A Pawnee Plots War While His Chief Plans Peace," a tale set in the American frontier, and concludes with a "World-Wide Quiz" featuring fourteen general knowledge questions on geography, animals, music, and culture.
