Lion #102 is an anthology that includes three main stories. "Captain Condor and the Space-Ship Spy" follows the space pilot Captain Condor and his comrade Pete as they pursue a spy in a hovering plane near Dover, with the narrative continuing to the following week. "Sandy Dean's Schooldays" presents a Western tale in which the camp boss Sam Oakey intervenes to prevent a lynching of a man named Swiftfoot, leading to an armed confrontation between workmen and Native American warriors led by Grey Eagle seeking vengeance. "Rory—Mick the Mountie's Dog," by Victor Norman, depicts Rory the dog helping Mountie Mick outwit a gang of forgers operating in the backwoods by exposing their five-dollar bill scheme. The issue also features a "World-Wide Quiz" section with ten riddles and trivia questions for reader participation.
