Life with Archie #235

The puzzle-piece framing on this 1983 Life with Archie cover says it all — poor Archie literally can't get it "all together," as his head peers up from a missing piece at the bottom while Veronica and Betty, both in Riverdale cheerleader uniforms with pom-poms in hand, stand on either side of his headless football uniform. Stan Goldberg's cover art plays the eternal love-triangle gag with cheerful wit, turning Archie's romantic dilemma into an inspired visual joke. At 60 cents, it's a charming slice of Riverdale life that promises plenty of good-natured fun inside.
