The issue contains two stories: "Li'l Rascal Twins" features the twins testing different candy pieces to ensure quality before giving them away to other children, but their plan backfires when a man they meet later reveals he has excellent taste in candy, prompting them to keep their remaining sweets for themselves. "Smarter Than an Owl" involves Pinkie Rabbit seeking advice from Old Oscar the owl about her troubles with Bucky Bunny, who was rude to her; Oscar counsels her about women, but Bucky later takes credit for generously helping Mrs. Beaver by delivering ice cream on her behalf without permission, and when Mrs. Beaver calls looking for payment, Uncle Ted Bear refuses credit—leading Bucky to realize he cannot profit from the deed. The second story concludes with the twins finding a buried treasure chest on a beach, which two men in hats attempt to claim, resulting in a chaotic confrontation over the newfound riches.

Li'l Rascal Twins [Li'l Genius [Ollie Orwell]Li'l Tomboy]

When Li'l Genius and Li'l Tomboy land a job distributing free candy samples for a local company, they can't resist testing the merchandise themselves—and keep testing it, convinced that thorough quality control requires sampling every last bar in the bag. By the time they stumble back to report their findings, their honest assessment of the candy's declining quality comes a little too late and a lot too personally.

What starts as a helpful favor quickly becomes a wild ride through an oddball subscriber list that tests Eddie's patience in this lighthearted 1959 romp.

As chaos unfolds on the beach with multiple treasure chests, fake finds, and unexpected visitors, the twins get tangled up in something far more serious than a simple treasure hunt.
