☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology issue contains two stories. In the first, a blonde girl feels guilty about being mean to Henry on his birthday and resolves to make it up to him by performing various household tasks. Her efforts backfire spectacularly when she breaks a lady's window, and her father must pay eighty dollars in damages, leaving her to confess her misdeeds. In the second story, "Money Mad," Li'l Genius visits his Uncle Bundle and learns the elderly man has grown wealthy. Uncle Bundle explains his riches come from getting richer every day through his husband's income, but Li'l Genius devises a scheme to help Uncle Bundle become even richer by tightening a screw, only to discover it was Uncle Bundle's imagination at work. The final story features Li'l Genius encountering Senor Pedro the Matador at a Mexican hacienda, where Pedro seeks help running his corn mill since no one else will work for him, and Li'l Genius agrees to become partners, though the arrangement proves complicated because Pedro refuses to do the actual work.
