The second volume of Delaf and Dubuc's breezy French-Belgian series finds its fabulous trio at the center of a rainy-day scene that perfectly captures the series' cheeky humor — two of the girls laugh and preen under a shared umbrella while a third gets thoroughly soaked in the downpour. "Sale temps pour les moches" (Rough Weather for the Uglies) promises the same sharp social comedy fans loved in the first volume, wrapped in Delaf's wonderfully expressive, stylized linework. Published by Dupuis in 2007, this is a delightful slice of teenage self-absorption played completely for laughs.
