Legionnaires #70 (April 1999) promises a trippy dimensional adventure as the cover — penciled by Chris Sprouse and inked by Al Gordon — plunges Cosmic Boy and his teammates into the disorienting "Worlds of Domain," rendered in a swirling maze of vivid reds and greens. The figures tumble through the chaotic space alongside a giant robotic hand and strange spherical emblems, conveying a genuine sense of reality unraveling around them. With Roger Stern and Tom McCraw co-writing and Jeffrey Moy on interior art, this late-series installment has a lot of creative firepower behind it.
