A towering, wild-haired Mordru dominates this 1997 cover, his purple robes and golden bracers radiating menace as crumbling cityscapes erupt in chaos behind him — the title banner says it all: "The Madness of Mordru!" Below him, a group of Legionnaires sprint desperately toward the viewer, their expressions caught somewhere between determination and dread. Jeffrey Moy and W. C.
