Legionnaires #24

This April 1995 issue pulls no punches — the cover by Jeff Moy and W. C. Carani depicts a battered, bloodied Legionnaire in a torn costume pinned to the ground, clutching a ripped "Aliens Go Home!" sign while surrounded by attacking figures closing in from every angle. The raw tension in that image sets a serious, emotionally charged tone for Tom Peyer and the creative team's story "Me, Myself and I." It's a striking reminder of how DC's Legion titles in 1995 weren't afraid to tackle themes of prejudice and belonging head-on.
