Legionnaires #23
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeEven the galaxy's greatest teen heroes need a night off — and this March 1995 issue of Legionnaires promises exactly that, with the cover's bold tagline declaring "It's Saturday Night… The Galaxy Is Safe… and it's Party Down Time!" Jeffrey Moy's cover pencils (inked by Wade von Grawbadger) capture a lively group of five young Legionnaires in a relaxed, celebratory mood: a lightning-charged figure in green strikes a carefree pose at center, flanked by teammates in blue and gray uniforms, their Legion flight rings visible, while two more members hang back on the left with amused, knowing expressions. Writer Tom Peyer and artist Jeffrey Moy bring a welcome change of pace to the series with a story simply titled "Flight" — and if the cover's infectious energy is any indication, this one's a lot of fun.
