Abin Sur trades the stars for the frontier in this 1999 two-part finale, "The Trail of the Traitor, Part Two," rendered on cover by Laurel Blechman with striking painterly warmth. The alien Green Lantern cuts a striking figure here — wide-brimmed hat, domino mask, striped poncho billowing behind him — dual green-glowing pistols raised against a golden desert sky, blending space-cop authority with Old West swagger. Writer Steven Grant and artist Mike Zeck with inker Klaus Janson bring their own frontier sensibility to the interior, making this a genuinely intriguing chapter in the Legends of the DC Universe anthology.
