This cheerful 1950 DC anthology packs 52 big pages of fun, with a cover by Otto Feuer that sets a perfectly frosty comic tone: Peter Porchops, bundled up in a Santa hat and scarf, is cheerfully sculpting a snow statue of a very frozen, icicle-covered Wolfie, who shivers miserably on a wooden box while Peter reassures him it'll "only take a few more hours." The sign promising a $5 reward for snow likenesses ties the whole absurd scene together with a gag that's as warm as the cover is wintry.
