This December–January 1948 DC humor title delivers a wonderfully sneaky cover scene: a crafty little pig crouches under a red table, wrench in hand, apparently tampering with the table's leg while a tall, drooling dog leans eagerly over the top — completely fixated on the jar labeled "Peter Porkchops Cookie Jar." Otto Feuer's cartooning is full of personality, perfectly capturing that classic cat-and-mouse tension between a schemer and an oblivious victim.
