With his memory wiped, Johnny works for Langtree Motors by day and is unaware that he turns to Ghost Rider by night. During a testosterone-laced race with one of Langtrees' mechanics for the hand of the lovely Gina, Johnny regains his memory just as Travis is trying to kill him and he turns into Ghost Rider in the nick of time. Unaware of anything that happened after he got knocked on the head, Johnny takes off forgetting all about Gina.
