Published under DC Black Label and brought to French readers by Urban Comics, this first volume of Le Dernier des Dieux opens Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Riccardo Federici's epic with serious ambition. Kai Carpenter's painted cover sets the tone immediately: a muscular warrior in red cape and leather armor braces himself against the enormous black limbs of a colossal spider-like creature looming overhead, shield raised and hammer in hand against a bleak, mountainous sky.
