The final chapter of this five-issue DC series closes with a cover that's impossible to look away from — a suited figure with skeletal hands crossed and gold coins covering his eyes stares outward against a blood-splattered backdrop, framed by angels and stars in rich purples and golds. Tony Harris's painted cover work gives the whole thing a genuinely unsettling, almost devotional quality that suits the story title "Unlikely Saint" perfectly. A worthy send-off to a series that clearly had a lot on its mind about death, redemption, and the space in between.
