Lazarus Five #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe third chapter of this five-part DC series, "Prodigal Son," arrives with a Tony Harris cover that crackles with eerie tension — a wild-haired, cigar-smoking figure in a striped coat stands at the center, holding what appears to be a snake, while looming behind him are two haunting visages: a horned, demonic face and a grinning skull wreathed in tentacles. The whole composition pulses with occult dread, framed by writhing figures along the border and the Latin subtitle per fugam umbrarum adding an air of dark mysticism. Dan Jolley and Harris's 2000 series clearly has a lot on its mind, and this midpoint issue promises the story is building toward something genuinely unsettling.
